Message from Pastors Pat & Norma Riley:

Psalm 89

15 How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!
         O LORD, they walk in the light of Your countenance. 
16 In Your name they rejoice all the day,
         And by Your righteousness they are exalted. 
17 For You are the glory of their strength,
         And by Your favor our horn is exalted.

God is doing new things within the walls of VOJAC and most importantly, it is causing an impact outside the walls.  The vision of this house is:

Souls – Saved

Disciples – Made

Believers – Equipped

Nations – Changed

We are witnessing how God is restoring the priestly order in the home and making a difference in the heart of our city….our homes.  Men and women in our church have attended weekend retreats that allow for a one-on-one encounter with the Lord and upon their return have listened to their testimonies of how God has restored their lives. 

Paul put it very simply in Rom. 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”  There is no way that we can come to be completely taught to a point of becoming un-teachable as it is noted on Heb. 12:2 “fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith..”.  God is speaking now, is moving now and is not religion or rules.  He is about setting us free from chains so that we may hear the joyful sound and know His perfect will for our purposely created lives!

15¡Cuán bienaventurado es el pueblo que sabe lo que es la voz de júbilo!
         Andan, SEÑOR, a la luz de tu rostro.

16En tu nombre se regocija todo el día,
         y por tu justicia son enaltecidos.

17Porque tú eres la gloria de su potencia,
         y por tu gracia es exaltado nuestro poder.

Dios está haciendo cosas nuevas entre las paredes de VOJAC y más importante, está causando un impacto afuera de las paredes.  La visión de la casa es:

Almas – Salvas

Discípulos – Hechos

Creyentes – Equipados

Naciones – Cambiadas

Estamos siendo testigos como Dios está restaurando el orden sacerdotal en la casa y haciendo una diferencia en el corazón de nuestra ciudad. . . nuestros hogares.  Hombres y mujeres en nuestra iglesia han atendido a retiros de fin de semana, los cuales han permitido un encuentro de uno a uno con el Señor.  En su regreso han compartido testimonios de como Dios a restaurado sus vidas.  Pablo lo puso muy sencillo en Romanos 12:2 “Y no os adaptéis a este mundo, sino transformaos mediante la renovación de vuestra mente, para que verifiquéis cuál es la voluntad de Dios: lo que es bueno, aceptable y perfecto.”  No hay forma que podamos llegar a ser completamente enseñados a un punto que no podamos aprender más, como es notado en Hebreos 12:2 “puestos los ojos en Jesús, el autor y consumador de la fe”.  Dios está hablando ahora, se está moviendo ahora y no es religión o reglas.  El esta librándonos de cadenas para que podamos escuchar el sonido gozoso y conozcamos su perfecta voluntad para el propósito que nos creo.
